State employees are hard at work preparing for and dealing with the snow heading our way. The brunt of the impact is expected to hit the eastern part of the state this afternoon, bringing up to 5 inches or more in some areas.

It’s important that all state employees review the state’s Adverse Weather Leave Policy to be informed on what is expected of them. The N.C. Office of State Human Resources posted the policy to social media yesterday ahead of the storm.
