SEANC's lobbyists spoke out in opposition to House Bill 1006 this week in the House Rules Committee. This bill would extend the deadline for a pilot project for an inmate tracking system in our prisons. SEANC feels this tracking system needs to be implemented as soon as possible to keep employees safe.

The bill passed the House Rules Committee and went straight to the House floor where it passed on Wednesday and it’s now headed to the Senate.
