The march toward potential privatization at the Division of Motor Vehicles continues to heat up as the next legislative session approaches.

This week, legislators grilled DMV Commissioner Wayne Goodwin and other staff members on Wednesday about perceived issues in the agency at a Joint Committee on Transportation hearing.

SEANC First Vice President Wendell Powell (pictured with Sen. Michael Lazzara and SEANC lobbyist Chris Hailey, Jr.) attended the meeting and iterated SEANC's opposition to privatization efforts to both chairs afterward.
