SEANC President Martha Fowler, Executive Director Ardis Watkins, and Member Relations Director Lynn Cote met with DHHS Secretary Kody Kinsley on Wednesday to discuss issues brought up by SEANC's DHHS Study Committee, led by District 6 Chairperson Sonya Akbar. Kinsley showed a willingness to tackle these concerns in the meeting.

He was awarded SEANC's first Unsung Hero award in 2020 for his efforts in working with us to protect members at DHHS facilities at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

After the meeting, Watkins noted that Kinsley is "one of the people in state government most committed to doing what’s right for the people of North Carolina and its employees."
