What a great afternoon of team building with SEANC District 3 in Boone, NC. Thank you Anne Castro for being the brain child of this event. Kudos Mama T, District Chair, for arranging the location at Troy's Diner and coordinating the event. Thank you Gary & Rhonda Robinson for hauling your car for the perfect backdrop for our photos. It was a great afternoon of fun, fellowship, and food!
April 2023 - Membership Drive @ Appalachian State University Staff Appreciation Day

This was a wonderful event at the ASU Convocation Center. District 3 members shared SEANC membership information and played a 'spin the wheel' activity with ASU employees for fun prizes, and recruited 9 new members!
September 2023 - SEANC Convention

District 3 has 12 delegate slots (based on membership) and 12 delegates were in attendance plus 1 alternate and 1 associate member. We worked alongside other NC districts, regional reps, past presidents, and the SEANC Executive Board to represent the voices of ALL state employees and retirees. We stand together to fight for better pay and benefits, and improved working conditions across all state agencies. A lot was accomplished and learned during this conference, and we are better prepared and motivated to enhance our future TOGETHER!
May 2024 - 17th Annual Lois W. Forrester Memorial Golf Tournament at Boone Golf Club

The 2024 event was a record breaker even with a rainy start! District 3 values the continued support of our fundraising efforts to award scholarships and continue our community service activities.
